The reality alum said she was “puking in the sink” from the onset of a sudden stomach bug during a vacation with “mister man”

• She said that she “literally puked everything out of my body” and was sipping on beverages while recording her podcast

Lindsie Chrisley’s Mexican getaway was derailed by a stomach bug that left the reality star “puking in the sink.”

She opened the Wednesday, April 2 episode of her podcast The Southern Tea by sharing that she was drinking Sprite, mineral water, and a Mexican version of Pedialyte in her hotel, saying, “I hope it’s doing what it’s supposed to be doing.” 

The Chrisley Knows Best alum, 35, said that after landing in Cancun, she was in a taxi on her way to her hotel with “Mister Man that I’m with” when she started to feel sick. “I’m like, ‘Somebody needs to open that door right now because I’m about to puke … I feel like I’m gonna be sick.’ “

Chrisley explained that she didn’t want anyone to see her throw up, so she went “behind the vehicle where the gas is, like, coming out the back. And I’m puking right there. And I’m like, this is really weird. The only thing that’s in this puke, it’s, like, clear liquid.”

After they checked into their room, “from 9 pm until 5 am, I was throwing up multiple times every hour at least on the hour … I have to tell you: Puking in the sink is where it’s at because there’s multiple reasons why it’s better.” 

Although she says “I was raised as a toilet puker,” she said, “if you’re puking in the sink, you can rinse it all down, then you can also rinse your mouth out, wash your face off, take a little towel, wash your face off, and also brush your teeth all in the same area of where you just did what you did.”

Her vacation partner — whom she then dubbed “Mexico Man” — “thought that I was having an exorcism. He was like, ‘Something is exiting your body.’ ”

“I am puking the Baptist out of me,” she said, sharing that “Mexico Man was googling all these things … He’s like, ‘I think I’m gonna go get you some Dramamine.’ And I’m like, ‘I think you’re not.’ “ She pointed out that it’s generally for motion sickness, and “that’s absolutely not what’s going on … he said, ‘Your entire body was convulsing.’ I felt like I was in a horror movie.”

Around 4:30 am, she shared that her vacation partner got dressed to get her a doctor, and “walked all the way to some convenience store” to get her a Mexican coke and other drinks. Meanwhile, her vacation partner told her “I haven’t felt sick.”

But Chrisley said there’s one bright spot, sharing: “Since I have literally puked everything out of my body that could possibly have ever been put in my body that is left, I’m gonna do a bathing suit try on.”

But things seemed to be turning around; Chrisley posted a video of tacos and chips to her Instagram stories — where she’s holding a margarita in her hand — with a caption that appeared to be a quote from her mystery boyfriend: “Him: Tequila fixes your stomach.”

And as said at the end of the podcast, “I’m gonna go and try to sit out by the pool in a cabana for the first time since I’ve been here.”
