Kanye West Sued for Sexual Assault by Model
An Asian model accused Kanye West of sexual assault during the filming of the music video “In For the Kill” 14 years ago.
According to TMZ , Jenn An – a contestant on America’s Next Top Model season 13 – filed a lawsuit in federal court in the US, alleging that the filming of Kanye West and La Roux’s music video In For the Kill (2010) took place in a terrible, offensive way.
Jenn An said the Chelsea hotel room was where the scenes that left her feeling humiliated and haunted were filmed. She was given a revealing outfit and sat in a chair opposite West. “That’s why I picked you,” Jenn An said the rapper told her. West then allegedly sat in the chair, directing the camera to focus on Jenn An.
“The plaintiff says Kanye began choking her and then covering her face with his hands, before he put his fingers down her throat and covered her mouth to simulate oral sex. This action lasted for more than a minute,” according to the TMZ report.
In the lawsuit, the Asian model claimed West shouted: “This is art.”
For Jenn, the entire scene was more like sexual assault than a music video, so she sued West and Universal Music Group for inappropriate, violent behavior.
The scene the model referred to did not make it into the final edit. The music video also did not feature West or Jenn. In her lawsuit, she accused the record label and industry figures of trying to bury the incident.
Faced with this accusation, West’s side has temporarily not commented.
Rapper Donda has been involved in a series of lawsuits in recent times . In mid-October, Lauren Pisciotta – who was hired as West’s assistant from July 2021 to October 2022 – accused the rapper of sexual assault. Pisciotta claimed in her lawsuit that she was drugged and assaulted by the rapper at a recording session with Sean “Diddy” Combs. The former assistant also claimed that she had received numerous vulgar and harassing messages from West.
