SPORTS NEWS: FOX NFL Sunday makes clear its stance on Terry Bradshaw’s retirement in its latest broadcast schedule.

FOX NFL Sunday has confirmed that Terry Bradshaw isn’t planning for retirement anytime soon as they double up the veteran NFL star’s workload.

Bradshaw has been a mainstay on the FOX panel for over three decades, offering expert analysis and drawing from his Pittsburgh Steelers days to comment on the latest and greatest teams in the NFL. Even after an early retirement in 1984, Bradshaw couldn’t stay away from the sport as he immediately transitioned into a game analyst role for CBS in the same year he retired.

However, despite a successful broadcasting career, some fans have recently called for the 76-year-old to step down from the FOX panel due to increasing on-air mistakes. Despite these calls, Bradshaw has made it clear he has no plans to retire anytime soon, stating he still has “so much fun”.

It appears the broadcaster shares this sentiment as they’ve loaded up Bradshaw’s schedule leading into week 13 of the NFL season – the famous Thanksgiving week. Games will run from Thursday to Sunday on FOX, with Bradshaw being part of the commentary team covering up to six games over the weekend.

As reported by SportsMediaWatch, FOX will cover the New York Giants vs Dallas Cowboys game on Thanksgiving, which is sandwiched between broadcasts by CBS and NBC.

On NFL Sunday, FOX is set to broadcast a triple-header starting at 1pm ET, featuring the Houston Texans vs Jacksonville Jaguars, Arizona Cardinals vs Minnesota Vikings, and Seattle Seahawks vs New York Jets.

The action continues with two later games at 4:05pm ET with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers taking on the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams against the New Orleans Saints.

FOX’s Week 13 lineup showcases the network’s confidence in its team’s ability to commentate on the flurry of games seamlessly, and Bradshaw remains a pivotal part of this crew.

Dispelling any notions of stepping down, the 76-year-old made it clear on the Kelly Clarkson Show that he has no intention of retiring. Bradshaw said: “I’m one of those people that are lucky to go to work and can’t wait to get there. It’s so much fun to get up early as you, we work all day, we’re 12 hours in the studio working all the games throughout.

“The people here in New York may see us do one show but we do 12. You’re hanging out with a bunch of jocks that you love like brothers and it is a hoot as you can well imagine. They’re all good people.”
